Summer look cutoffs and off the shoulder top!
Summer is just around the corner and that means it’s short-short season! One popular trend for the warmer weather is the off the shoulder top. Normally, I wouldn't pair two skin baring pieces together with the fear of feeling too exposed, but I like the coverage of this top due to the longer sleeves. The length of the sleeves gives balance to the look with the shorts. The weather is all over the place on the east coast and sometimes the day starts off with intense heat then cools down drastically, and that calls for a versatile outfit.
I recently bought this top from H&M in a medium. I wanted to get it a size bigger than I would normally wear to have more length and a little looser fit in the torso. I love the tie detail on the sleeves. The Hollister shorts I chose are from a few years ago. Having a high waisted style gives more coverage makes them feel a bit more comfortable. I bought these sandals from H&M last year, but I didn't wear them until now. I love the gold chain detail on the top. The style reminds me of the Chanel slip ons with the pearls (I'm a huge fan the pearl detail as well). One of my favorite things to do when I'm wearing an all neutral look is pair it with a really eye catching bag like this one. I found this one on Amazon, and fell in love!
